Backpack and Portable

Homebrew Vertical &
Horizontal Portable Mounts
I've finished the basic designs for a
mount with vertical and dipole
supports that hold Ham Sticks and
my military whips. My goal was to create a good, light weight, simple, easy to match HF antenna for portable use. Beginning spring 2005 I'll be doing more work to enhance the design. I'm experimenting with height and extra wire in a loose coil configuration to get a match. I've had great success here. Stay tuned for details. The link above will take you to my pictures archive.
