Mounting a VHF/UHF and Ham Stick antenna

I needed a new mobile antenna  for my car after dropping and breaking my old mag mount. I decided that I wanted to use a nice, large, high gain antenna and I also wanted to add HF mobile capability.

After  doing some  research and shopping I decided to go with the Comet RS730 trunk lip mount. These mounts are really well made and very solid. They have a variety of models to suit your connector needs and they perform well. See the pictures below for my installation.
